Sampha – Process [Album]

UK singer, songwriter and producer Sampha might have just released one of the best debut albums we’ve heard in a very long time. Known for his collaborations with some of music’s biggest names – Kanye West, Drake, SBTRKT, Solange Knowles – Sampha has now taken the well-deserved spotlight with this release.

A combination of his unique raspy yet airy vocals, top notch piano and percussion driven production, and deeply sentimental lyrics all come together perfectly throughout the 10 tracks of Process, making this an album we’ll have in heavy rotation for some time. Be sure to stream the album below and check him out on his current live tour.

Majid Jordan – Majid Jordan [Album]

Anybody who knows anything about Majid Jordan knows that they were the writers of Drake’s 2013 hit “Just Hold On, We’re Going Home”. Since the birth of that track, Majid Al Maskati and Jordan Ullman have been steadily working for the OVO team as songwriters and producing on their own music as an R&B Dance duo. They eventually dropped their infectious EP A Place Like This in 2014 and we have been patiently waiting for a full length project since.

The wait was definitely worth it, and this was obvious the moment they dropped their first single, “My Love” featuring Drake. From there they previewed the album with a handful of releases, all of which you can hear below. If you’re feeling the OVO duo’s debut album, you can purchase it now.

Drake feat. Beyonce – Can I

Stream the mastered version of “Can I” featuring Beyonce below, which premiered last night on OVO Sound Radio. This was previously released in its rough form, and has been rumored to be a track off Drake’s upcoming album, Views From The 6.
