Wild For The Night Video

2013 is definitely ASAP Rocky’s year. His debut album ‘Long. Live. ASAP’ hit number one Billboard’s 200 chart, plus he was listed as one of rap’s 10 best MC’s of the year by MTV. Now he is hitting us with the visuals to one of the hottest tracks of the album ‘Wild For The Night’. He and fellow producer Skrillex are shown chilling out and partying on the island of Dominican Republic. The song alone goes hard, but the video just made it even better. Check it out below.

No Problems

The princess of smack talk, Azelia Banks, is coming out with her debut album Broke With Expensive Taste on April 16th and released a quick promo video for her single No Problems. We can’t seem to escape the allure of UMF as this video takes place right in the heat of it all, as Azelia shows off her dope rap skills and over this acid-induced beat.

Fire from Abroad

Some buddies currently studying abroad have sent over tracks that are bumping in European clubs, and I’ve got to say I’m pretty impressed. But there’s one song I have not stopped jamming out too. ‘Wakanda’ by Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike has got to be one of the most unique EDM songs I have heard in a minute. With the use of powerful drums and synths assisted with tribal vocals, this song instantly gets the heart beating and fists pumping. Oh yeah, and that drop around the two minute mark… just wait.

Porter Robinson – Ultra Set

Haven’t heard much from the electro-house prodigy Porter Robinson as of late; but he did play on Ultra’s main stage over the weekend. Porter completely skilled his set, and I am envious of those who go to witness it live. I am currently ‘that guy’ nodding his head too hard in the library – but you think I care? Nah. The guys over at Thissongissick were able to get a recording of it in its entirety, so give it a listen and try your best to not bop your head: I dare you.

Ultra Music Festival will be back this weekend for its second phase of shows, so expect more sets to surface.

Kendrick x Jay-Z Collab

One of the hottest songs off one of the hottest albums of the year, just got a remix. Jay-Z hooked up Kendrick Lamar with a dope verse for his track, ‘Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe’. Two of the undoubtedly best MC’s in the game both kill it in this song. The cover art for the is boss too:

bitch-dont-kill-my-vibe-remix Kobe vs Jordan – Kendrick vs Jay-Z

This sounds like a friendly rivalry we got brewing here. We can expect a lot of good hip hop to come our way, if these guys start battling; thats for sure.

If you haven’t heard of UZ by now, you obviously aren’t on the trap wave, and should probably hop on if you don’t want to miss out on some of the hottest music the EDM scene has to offer. UZ has been putting out music on a daily basis and this mixtape shows that he can deliver quantity and quality. He was able to gather a couple of collaborations for the tape – most notable are fellow trap producer Bauuer and rapper Trinidad James – who only add on to the hyphiness of the tape.

You can stream and download the mixtape in its entirety below, thanks to thissongissick.com.

Drake's Warning

One of Young Money’s most prevalent rapper, just released a new track: ‘5AM In Toronto’, giving the hip-hop world a reminder as to why is he is one of the best in the game right now. He vents out his feelings towards the artists who have been taking shots at him – from Pusha T to The Weeknd – and lets them know that he is not backing down by any means when it comes to making music, which he knows will lead the charts. Overconfident? Yes, but this is what you want to hear from the highly criticized rapper, showing us that the hate is not phasing him. This is just a fair warning for both artists and fans that he is ready to give his all on his upcoming album, Nothing Was The Same.

Fresh Dillon Francis Remix

Dillon Francis has been going at it with the remix releases, and he now has one for Justin Timberlake’s ‘Suit & Tie’. The remake has a completely different sound, with a whole new trap feel. He samples JT’s voice into a tripped out harmony that collides against the 808 drums. Never out of fresh ideas, Dillon Francis is whipping up tracks like cakes at a bakery, and this one’s got extra frosting on top.
